So for years Abby has been saying "Let's get bikes, Let's get bikes." Teach me how to ride and lets get bikes. Blah Blah Blah.
I have been against the idea cause Abby said she didn't know how to ride a bike and I would have to teach her. Not a prob. But I didn't want it to turn out like the gym membership I got, or the hiking poles, hiking shoes, backpacks, roller skates or other various attemps at finding something physical we can both enjoy together outside.
So she made a bet with me that if she got a bike and learned how to ride that I would have to get a bike as well and ride with her. Ok deal.
So we go to the bike shop and she picks out a bike and even asks the Bike guy if they make training wheels for adults, since she dosen't know how to ride a bike.
Well we get the bike and I take her out to my work where there is a big empty parking lot with no traffic for her to learn to ride.
Well I get the bike out of the car and she just takes off. She knew how to ride a bike all along.
The next day I went and got a bike for myself. We have been riding daily since then. Let's see if it lasts.
This image was taken after she got back from "learning" how to ride around the building.
