I took this photo many years ago with a little box Brownie camera. It is a photo of my parents that I have carried in my wallet all these years.
My father would be 115 years old. Because he was born on the 4th of July I thought the celebrations were for his birthday when I was little.
This is how I remember him, always with his hat-a straw in the summer and a felt in the winter.
And, because it is Father's Day in the U. S. I am posting this photo.
