We've traveled long distances, with many more to go. Looking back to the receding sunset to the west from whence we came, the footprint of the ship marks the path we've traveled.
Thanks Denise...I figured all the cruisers here would have a shot like this!
Karen - no problem...it's always nice to see other photographers posting similar shots - it validates my photo eye by letting me know others with more skill think alike! ;)
Mine was taken pulling out of Port Evergaldes in Florida - we were about an hour out of port (you can make out three other ships departing on the horizon) sailing east through the Bahama bank on our way eventually down towards Antigua. The sunset that first night was spectacular.

Lovely picture, Justin! I didn't see there was a second page of images when I posted a very similar picture to yours, sorry! Didn't mean to be a copycat. I guess great minds think alike . . . Karen
p.s. Where were you? We were in the Mexican Riviera somewhere, before Puerto Vallarta.
Really nice, Justin. Beautiful colors in both the sunset and the wake. You beat me to it with this pic ;-)) but I wouldn't have been as eloquent as you with my description....wonderful, I love it.
