Wait for the green light to flash then jump……….NOW!

Hee hee.

I know we all say this but boy oh boy do I have a great time when I see my pbase friends. Tonight is no exception.

Rose, Nicky, Gail and I have now been out together a couple of times and the following are facts about this evening and our last encounter:

1. No awkward pauses in the conversation
2. Serious(!) quantities of giggling
3. Yummy food
4. Chatting for England
5. A few ‘root beers’ got quaffed
6. OMG – is that the time? We’re going to miss our last train home….

I don’t know what happened tonight – I’d said I needed an early night so had planned to leave at 10.30pm. Rose, Gail and Nicky all said the same. So, when I caught the last bus home, arriving at half twelve, I couldn’t believe it. Somehow someone had stolen an hour from me. It’d been there one minute and it was gone the next.

It’s a year exactly since I first met Gail and I am so glad that we did get around to meeting up. It’s been one of my great pleasures being in her company and now to add in Rose and Nicky too it all just seems too perfect to be true…..but it IS true.

So, to say our feet never touched the ground might be appropriate here too!

So, here I am, late home again and a Board Meeting tomorrow…..at least no dramas in the street tonight.
