I was walking around the farm this morning early taking some pictures for a project and I got to thinking about water and how important it is to the farm. You would naturally assume that it is useful for irrigation, and that is true. One other thing that it is essential for is a dairy. The dairy has been gone here for 20 years or so, but when it was in business water was everywhere. Cows drink it, cow udders get washed with it before milking, and it is used to wash all the cow poop down the slab and into the crap pump reservoir. That is a story for another time.

also because it is the main ingredient in beer and other spirits......

Water is indeed important. Without it, my water-powered abacus would not function.
