If not for the "cool factor", these antique crutches would be
destined to appear atop a bon fire in the back yard.
I've just received the post-op doctors okay to resume normal activities.
This means that I can walk long distances (okay, yes I need to
start slowly) without crutches!!!!
For the next four weeks, I will receive one injection weekly in my knee.
This is hyaluronic acid... the hope is that it will provide some
cushion for the destroyed cartilage and buy me some more time before
a more invasive treatment becomes necessary.
It is a happy day for me ;)
