Just a shot of the upper meadow. Later on in the year, this meadow is covered with numerous types of wild flowers. This early, it's just taking on such a wonderful green. Just one of our favorite places to go hang out and absorb some rays. Though Xena found a number of fresh piles of bear dung just along the tree line [later requiring a bath back at the cabin], there were no sitings of bears this trip.
