Betele sau stinghiile din colivie pot sa fie din plastic sau lemn. Daca sunt din lemn, folositi lemn uscat si decojit, tot asa pentru a evita ingestia de tanini care pot produce deranjamente intestinale. Puteti folosi grosimi, forme si inclinatii diferite (mai ales in voliere) pentru a stimula picioarele pasarii. In medie grosimea lor este intre 10-13mm.
