Growing in poor soil in a slightly raised bed, Alyogyne survived winter 06/07 without any damage (minimum temperature -3.5C, some very wet months). My previous plant died very quickly at the start of winter, and I think it was the heavy, wet soil which killed it, rather than the cold.
