03062007 rainy summer afternoon

Everything's looking very lush after all the recent rain. Dad took me out for a walky this
afternoon and he forgot to take a coat, which was very silly because it started to rain seconds
after this photo was taken.
Humans don't have a covering of fur like we dogs do - most
impractical, I think!
Imagine if Dad had sat on a bee like I did earlier today in my garden -
without a covering of fur he would have been in for a very unpleasant surprise!

It would be fun to run and jump in all that soft grass! No one would see you in there, its quite tall! I think Dad should take his jacket next time...

People are not put together as well as pups! We only use two legs to run, so we are slower when we have to run from bees, too!

Well hopefully Dad would have at least had some underwear covering his important little places, so the bee would not have stung him! Lovely shot with the poppies in the field.
