This is the first of many photos of children you will see here. It was hard to take a photo of a single child; the kids would gather wherever I swung the camera lens. Even when I was sitting on a bench taking a rest, lens covered, they would come around timidly, first one, then several. As I took off the lens cap they would begin to gather in front of me saying, tome me, tome me (take my picture).
