Can I just take a moment to tell you how cool my wife is?

For my 40th birthday, she arranged a private screening of Pirates of the Carribean: At Worlds End for myself and one of our best friends who's birthday is one week after mine. And found the greatest picture of me for the cake!

Just us and the 45 of our closest friends who could make it that evening! Most in pirate costume, and all bringing their love, joy and merriment to the party! A WONDERFUL Evening I won't soon forget!!!

(But with all the wonderful images from last night running through my mind, the coolest still has to be the look on my almost 3 month old son's face when he looked up at the giant screen and saw Jack Sparrow staggering onstage. Yah, he's gonna be a romantic at heart that one. I can just tell!)
