Beautiful shot Carol! Denise, a Google search seems to indicate that the sculpture (Cupid's Span) symbolizes the place where Tony Bennett "left his heart". The song "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" was apparently adopted by the City and County of San Francisco as one of its two official anthems (the other being the title song from the 1936 film San Francisco).

Nicely done, brings a smile to my face. I was going to post this image and didn't!!! I took it from the ferry on 4th of July last year. But do you know what, if anything, this has to do with San Francisco???? I have been trying to figure that our for years ;-))
