My parents don't live exactly around the corner from us unless you count 1500 miles as around the
corner. Needless to say they don't just drop in for coffee. Today however was a bit different. They
arranged with my wife to just drop in for a few days in celebration of my birthday yesterday. It was
a complete surprise to me when my wife got home from running errands this morning and had a couple of
extra passengers in the truck.

This was the best birthday present they could have given me. I miss them more than they know.
