My heartfelt thanks to the so many kind birthday wishes from all of you. It was indeed a day to bask in the joys of friendship that resides not only here in San Diego, but also around the world from Pbase friends who mean a great deal to me.

And Gary. I hope you saw his gallery. Also many people commented that there was no Gary SP. So I’m remedying that with this shot taken by Kathy Rippy.

Happy birthday my friend. Looks like you had a great celebration. I'm out of the hospital and on the mend.Thanks for the phone call, it meant a lot. By the way today is my birthday. I forgot that our birthdays were so close. My birthday gift was an upward turn in my health allowing me to come home. Take care.

It's hard to imagine how I got to be so good looking. I try to remain greatful, what else is there to do? :-) PS: It was one of the warmest, most fun, funniest, and fascinating birthday parties I've ever attended. You were the star of the day, but you were humble, appreciative, and still witty and mischievous. The food 'tweren't bad, either!
