I hadn't been satisfied with the effect from using filters to make a painting style so I settled to try and make a proper portrait. So here we are, my first digital pet portrait, so much less messy than when I used to make them with pastels :)

Next lesson to learn is how not to lose sharpness when resampling down to make web versions of large files! He wasn't this fuzzy in his original form.
