Thanks for all the kind comments! Actually, Bill, I managed to find it by chance. I was out on the Hill searching for subjects for the challenge and not finding much, when a stranger wanted to pet my dog and chat. She misunderstood what I had been doing and said, "Why would anybody want to photograph that construction site? It's just the backbone right now, concrete and steel!" I said "I would!" and dragged my dog back down there, remembering these concrete structures (which I thought were elevator shafts). At first I was disappointed but then really looked at the staircase and fell in love with it. And here it is :-). Helen

Cool shot! I really like the wood and tube that stand up from the bottom. Also the title sounds so well. :-)
