Today I ventured to the side of my mom's garden and caught many wilted
cereus blooms in the morning sunlight. I've never seen so many dead
blooms before. I recalled my mom saying she grows many flowers, but
many are not seen because I never come out to visit them.
This reminds me of the saying, "If a tree falls in a forest and no one
is around to hear it fall, does it make a sound?" I turned that saying
around, "If a flower blooms in its glory and there is no one around to
see it, did it bloom?" Yes, it did, I saw the aftermath!
