I agree with Phil. From the 10 thumbnails I saw, I picked this to be the first to see and I like the way you have captured her facial expression. You have a talent in managing the light, much better than me which I hope to learn in near future. And yes it does leave a thought to the viewer of what's in her mind....if only I knew!
This is one of the most expressive portraits I've seen in your galleries, Aloha. The mood is intense, created by her response and the degree of abstraction through the interplay of light and shadow. It leaves much to the viewer's own imagination, as well.
