I made this shot while I was walking among dense touristic crowds, at a moment that I was not at all planning to make anymore photographs.
In the harsh midday sunlight I would normally not be tempted to shoot a landscape.
Even the subject and the composition don't really match my usual features.
Yet I was automatically attracted by the eary sea-light in contrast to the darker shadows and the unusual shapes of the vegetation.
A strange photo that I like for some inexplicable reason...
