M 58

M 58 is a barred spiral galaxy, and part of the huge
Virgo Galaxy Cluster. It is 68 million light years
from earth.

At the bottom left corner of the image is another
galaxy, NGC 4564, a very elongated example of an
elliptical galaxy.
