Gulmit is the headquarters of the Gojal Tehsil, in the upper Hunza region of the Northern Areas of Pakistan.
Before 1974, when Hunza was a state, Gulmit used to be the summer capital of the state.
Salaam yaar,
Not an agent, just an adventurer and Pakistan lover. Yeah, I guess Gulmit to Shishkot is under water. I've riden that road by jeep, by horse, and on foot. I suppose in other words, I've seen it. So beautiful.
