I took this yesterday when it was sunshine and bone dry.
It has been thundering and lightning and raining since about 2 a.m. today. We have had over six inches of rain. New Orleans is flooded.
The rain has slackened (it is 4:30 p.m.) and I think the worse is over. We really needed the rain-that should catch us up for the year thus far.
