Lowari Top, NWFP

The Lowari Top (10,500 ft) crosses the Hindu Raj Mountains, a spur of the higher Hindu Kush. Behind us the road drops (via 42 switchbacks) to Ashrit, and Chital Valley.

I was there in 86, 87, and 89. The two tea houses were just before the top.
