Becaue I came home with a tick on me from this encounter in the woods (and even more ticks the following two weeks), I'm now a little reluctant to continue to frequent the woods.

I love the deer spottings, but I HATE ticks!!!

This is the first year I've had a problem with ticks. Although I've seen them on the deers, ticks have never bothered me before. However now, I'm going to have to do some hard thinking about where I walk for daily exercise. If I do decide against the woods, I am so going to miss close encounters with such beautiful animals as this.
