Learned about this HDR stuff in the new PBase Mag.

This is my first attempt at HDR(High Dynamic Range).
The Photomatix software really seems to work well.
The freeware version isn't as effective as the Pro
Version. The Pro Version Tone Manipulation is way more
robust.I'm test driving the Pro Version, thus the
Watermark. Not sure I want to spend the $99.00.

Anyone have any input regarding the HDR process?

My initial impression is, it does provide a great deal
more flexibility and actually I can arrive at a "real"
image. By "real" meaning more closely to what I preceived
my eyes saw.
