The wind was blowing 30mph the day that I visited the park. In the open spaces like where this shot was taken, I was happy I had a sturdy tripod because the wind was shaking me around pretty well. I spent most of my time on the mountains protected from the wind by the mountain face as well as the trees around me. I do wish I could have done a hike in the valley, but that gives me something to look forward to the next time I visit.
