Guinigi tower cannot be missed when seen from afar:
it has oak trees growing on top, something that makes it quite unique.
Guinigi Tower is part of the Guinigi house,
said to have been built in the 15th century by the most important family in Lucca.
They added a very tall tower to the house, on top of which planted the oak trees.
Oak trees are still there....
