Nice shot Roger.
I like the way the shapes and textures of the leaf a mirrored to some degree in tha background bark. That said, I do wish there was a bit more separation between the leaves and the background (maybe a slightly softer background, or a bit more saturation in the leaves...something that would pop out the leaves but allow the complementary background to play off them with a little less competition.
I don't particularly care for the OOF new shoot sprouting below the main subject - seems a bit of clutter that works against the clean lines of the 3 main leaves.
