Thank you Tom for the ID!
On the way to pick up Trenity from church I spotted this hawk way up on top of a stack of hay bales. He was bathed in the early evening low sun (it was just past 6pm) while he watched a field
that would be perfect for hiding his dinner. I was sorry that even though I took this image from the car window, it still spooked him enough that he left and didn't come back.
