Leuchtfeuer Campen

Campen, Germany

This great landmark of civil engineering is Germany's tallest lighthouse and one of the tallest of its type in the world. It guides ships through the channel of the Randzelgat in the lower estuary the Ems. The nearby generator building houses a 1906 diesel motor in operating condition.
