Excellent and dramatic shot, looks dangerous and must of been very noisy.
Great work.

He tried hard to help me
You know, he put me at ease
And he loved me so naughty
Made me weak in the knees
Oh I wish I had a river
I could skate away on
I'm so hard to handle
I'm selfish and I'm sad
Now I've gone and lost the best baby
That I ever had
Oh I wish I had a river
I could skate away on
I wish I had a river so long
I would teach my feet to fly
Oh I wish I had a river
I made my baby say goodbye

Amazing scene with that volatile water, it's a wowser..v

I find it compelling that you captured the energy of the water with the long exposure and the old house in the background lends an element of perserverance against the vagrancies of nature. Beautifully done and V.

Mother nature looking her best. Awesome shot! GMV.

There are dozens of roads around here still closed due to Sunday's storm. I guess you got a bit of this, too, huh? Stay dry!

Eew. That's a powerful image, but a bad situation with all that water.

Very impressive image with just the right amount of blur to really catch the feeling of untamed power. I particularly like the brown hues throughout.

This image depicts, I think, the true power of water that cannot be tamed. Excellent work.

What a torrent! The building at the back reminds me of a mill that was once local to me that mysteriously burnt down when I was a boy.

The worst part is there is no off switch one just has to wait it out. Heavy image. Are you going to tell us where and when?
Guest 18-Apr-2007 03:23
Oh my goodness! Was this from the floods? Incredible. Beautiful and scary at the same time. V
