Washington, Virginia. Looking at the shops of the Inn at Little Washington (the inn is on the corner 45 degrees to my right). En route to the Thornton Gap entrance to Sky Line Drive.
A composition exercise. There's a black SUV parked next to the yellow building; rather than cloning it out, I hid it behind the middle layer of the foreground fountain. This is my typical landscape with a wide angle and a prominent foreground object for added interest and perspective - or in this case the fountain and the bed of tulips for a clear 3-D perspective.
