The end of the first row was woven back in on the underside, exactly opposite of the very first ends that I had previously wove into the underside. They obviously wrap back up around the back rail and start getting woven in exactly opposite (at least for this pattern) of the first topside row. It was easiest to do the actual weaving part about 5 or 6 inches away from where it's final destination will be, then pull it into place. Much less friction at that point, so it is easier to work with. Buy or make a tool to pull the strands into place though! In hindsight, I recall seeing a tool that I didn't bother to read about. Pretty sure it was for this purpose. It will turn your fingertips raw after getting a few of these rows done.
