Satisfied with the finish on the chair, it was time to start weaving. I had a difficult time figuring out how exactly to start. I kept trying to place the end of the first strands of reed onto the same rail that I was trying to begin with. No matter how much I tried, it wouldn't stay. The nice ladies at the form link at the top of this gallery set me staright though. Don't start at the end. Leave slack and weave it in later. A tip to use zip ties worked very well.
