I didn't notice in the night sky when I plucked this branch, but there is a leaf bud starting to pop. I think the sharpening I did is too distracting, especially the background. Ugh.

I like the composition and the contrast of the bud against the fading flower. When sharpening, create a new layer, sharpen it, and then mask out the part you don't want to sharpen. .
