No doubt that it is a good book. Some of which you don't end the reading without being full of ideas. Superb toning, excellent use of the environment as natural framing.

Roe,

Thank you and I am glad that you are enjoying the book.

Scientists are always in search of time machines, ways to bring back memories, and moments that define us as human. They only have to look to the camera. It is a universal time machine.

Thanks again.

Duncan

PS. There are days that I sit with Doisneau and Boubat in Paris just like you are with my book. Other days I am with Simen Johan visiting a strange and absurd would. Wegman reminds me of the time I tried to dress up my dog, when I was a kid, for Halloween but she, the dog, would not stay still and ran out of the costume. Still on other days I sit with your work at peace enjoying the slices of light.

Duncan did a great job...I guess his model gave him some clues.
I like the composition, the choice of sepia tones, the fence, all...
Most of all I like what this image suggests.

The camera's POV seems echoed in the bookcover.

I'm sure that is a captivating book, but does it double up as a time machine?
Always good to see you.
