Passing Through

Sometimes when I'm out shooting, people stop and ask me
to take their pictures. They never ask about getting a
print. Perhaps they just want to know that their faces
have been recorded somewhere at some time. This young
man was traveling with two others on bicycles. I wished
him luck, but he shook his head and said, "I've been
through some terrible times lately." And he rode off.

Well done. I bet he would be pleased with how you captured him.

He is lucky to have found you, a kind soul with a knack for capturing the inner beauty of man and animal alike!
I like the story and your portrait of him.

An interesting narrative to this shot, Suzanne. Now his life will be all the better for having met you along the way.
