I saw this shining bright and white at the end of the garden, wanted to take a macro shot of it, but could not get to it as the ground is SO wet up there, I had to take a shot with the long zoom lens instead. Hopefully the ground will dry soon, so I can get back there and closer.
It is a very special pussy willow, grown from a piece of willow that was in a flower arrangement sent to me as a birthday gift from my mother a few years ago. After the flowers were over, I stuck the willow stalks in the ground at the back of the garden, knowing it is so often wet back there and ideal for willow, and it is growing beautifully now.
