Luna Moth on Bluff Pine

A moth never eats. This beautiful creature was clinging to this pine bough in a very strong wind. It had one goal, to live long enough to mate, provide for perpetuation of its species, and then to die. The greatest beauty of a luna moth is in its final days. Perhaps our finest gifts are our last gifts, when everything becomes clear. #7265
