Many thanks for comments, everybody. This is some piece of heavy machinery left from the old docks which are now converted in malls and restaurants. Some pieces of machinery are left here and there and perform the role of modern sculptures.

It's big (?), metal and rusty. That's all I know. Outstanding photo though! Love the colors of the object and the sky and the perspective is great. I bet you could go a little heavier on contrast and saturation (bring the yellow out even more)... but it's still awesome!

The EXIF data does not tell me who the "author" is so there is no clue there. BTW - it is handy to have your name embedded in the EXIF data. It helps protect your copyright interests in the photos you take.

Umm... 5D and TSE- lens??? that must be a clue?.... Looks to me to be the remains of an old 'Press' of some kind... perhaps cotton or wool press maybe? ...Melbob.

In the thumbnail, it looks like some sort of weird rock formation against the sky. A lot of pretty color here with nice composition. shu

Some heavy machinary, out of use for a while and may also be sitting in a junk yard or near an old barn in a large farm. It can also be some farming stuff! The grooved pattern by the edge is very similar to lifting equipments. Nicely seen and captured!! -Cat
