Rosa pimpinellifolia 'Altaica'

AKA "Burnet Rose" "Scots Rose"
A short growing & prickly thicket which suckers freely
on its own roots (which mine is) with palest pink single
blooms clustered along the canes in late spring. In
the late autumn the leaves change from gold to russet
and it makes quite a statement in the garden.
From Europe & very ancient.

other sizes: small medium original auto

This is a most unusual and beautiful colour.

The colour of the heps is out of the ordinary. Rather like blackcurrants.
