I've photographed this same aloe several times, but never right after a rain. I agree that the drops give it an over-the-top feel, and a bit of an uneasy feeling to boot. --- Woody

Woody, it draws me in too close and have to pull back in fear for my self. A really inetersting picture of a really intersting plant. Feed me Semore!!!

I have to focus really hard to keep the water on the leaves. It almost seems like the water is flying off during spin cycle. It has a very dynamic energy all of its own.
