Imagine the scene, looking out over Stirling on the evening of September 11th 1297, the glorious Scots army having just defeated the English. On the Abbey Craig you can almost hear the singing and high spirits. From this hill the Scots rushed down upon the English hordes and crushed them on the bridge.
