GREAT HORNED OWL (Bubo virginiansus)

Palmer Ranch - Sarasota, Florida

The Great Horned Owl is Florida's Largest owl species, reaching a wing span of nearly five feet. The prey of these nocturnal predators include rodents, rabbits, skunks, opossums, domestic cats, ducks and even other owls.

ive recently heard and seen a very large owl it actually make the who who sound what kind of owl could this be? its size was large id say 3 feet tall this is fl 32701
