Markjay, you're welcome, and CORRECT! - Henry

Thanks for posting a level horizon version. I've come back to your image twice because I love looking at sunsets and yours is framed and silhouetted by those trees... a bonus. A crooked horizon is like a crooked picture frame on the wall. Markjay

Thank you CJ, Mary Anne, RK, Sue Anne and Rod. Rod I did the "hide the sun" thing with another shot I took that day. I'll post it below. - Henry

Very beautiful silhoutte sunset and colors.

Well composed. Like the way you used the foliage to frame the shot. - RK

Very nicely done Henry, well done mate:-) One thing I try & do sometimes with these shots is to try & get the blown sun behind a bit of branch or something to break it up a bit so as not to overly draw the eye. Or if I feel like cheating I use the magic wand to select the blow out & then use the eye dropper tool to select the closest colour & then fill it at about 60% & sometimes add some noise so it looks more natural. It will still look like a bright sun but not being so whitish will be more a part of the shot.

Thank you all for your very nice comments. I agree, the horizon was tilted left a bit. Here is the "leveled' version. Thanks again, - Henry

Wow, Henry!! This is a very dramatic shot. I love the colors and contrast of it. About the last thing I see is the horizon, which might be a bit tippy, eh? Does it do anything for or against this shot? As I said, its the last thing I saw, so, it could be left as is as far as I'm concerned. Cheers, -mikey

Nice colors you captured here, Henry. Did a nice job of framing the tree with the other tress from this view as well. Markjay
