Fort Santiago, Intramuros, Manila

This structure is called the Dulaang (theater) Rajah Soliman where the Philippine Educational Theatre Association (PETA) held outdoor plays
until the group relocated recently. During the Spanish occupation the western side was used as a chapel-cell where the Philippine's
national hero - Dr. José P. Rizal - was transferred the night before he was executed by firing squad at the nearby Luneta.

You can see recently-cut trees that fell when typhoon "Milenyo" devastated the country last September 28, 2006.
