Mejiro Nesting

The highlight of my hike through the Enchanting Garden was finding a Japanese white-eye finch on a nest. This insect eating bird who carries the Japanese name "mejiro", is a favorite of island gardeners. Seldom still long enough for a photo - 1/125 of a second later she was gone!

Good catch. I like their hanging nest.
