Approximately 25,000 light years away and 145 light years across, this huge globular cluster is estimated to contain between 100,000 and 1,000,000 stars.

This image is cropped to highlight M13. Also note a couple of background galaxies to the upper-right of the cluster.

This is a colour-poor image. Only a few minutes in red and blue, and a software glitch left me with only one 1-minute exposure in green.
