How does this tree survive in such a place? And why is it deciduous? This is a wonderful image.

There is such power in this image, both of the crashing water, and the strong but graceful limbs of the tree. Good eye.

Wow, this is very beautiful. I now have to drive down to Bakersfield. I was just there
recently and all I saw was the mojave area.

Amazing shot - and it's equally amazing how the fragile-looking tree stands against the roaring waterfall. Powerful image.

This is stunning - you have captured the spirit of the waterfall and the spirit of the stalwart tree.
